POWERS

● Shape-shifting - Viago can shape-shift into a bat form. It looks very much like a regular sort of bat.

● Flight - Viago can fly in his human form in a Superman-esque fashion.

● Hypnotism - This is one of Viago's weakest abilities, but he can hypnotize humans to ignore strange things, command them to do simple tasks, or block out their senses for a short time. He requires eye-contact to do any of this, though, so throw a blindfold on him, and that ability is nullified. He also cannot command humans to invite him into somewhere, as much as he might like to be able to.

● Immortality - As a vampire, Viago does not age and is extremely difficult to kill. Putting a stake through his heart or burning him with sunlight or silver are the only things that are likely to put him down in any permanent way.

LIMITS

● Sunlight/Silver - Sunlight and silver burn Viago. Being in direct sunlight for more than a second or two will cause him to burst into flames.

● Crucifixes - Viago can be warded off with crucifixes. They don't hurt him, per se, but he can't stand the sight of them and will instinctively hiss and back away if they're held toward him.

● Rule of Courtesy - If there are humans inhabiting a structure that he does not call home, Viago must be invited in. He cannot hypnotize someone to do this unwillingly.

● Dietary Restrictions - Viago cannot eat food. It makes him incredibly ill and typically leads to vomiting copious amounts of blood. He can drink, but the only thing that will actually bring him sustenance is human blood.

● Vampiric Appearance - It's rather inescapable that Viago looks like a vampire. He's a deathly pale guy with obvious fangs who lives in 2014, but dresses like he's still living in the 17th Century's high society world. He's a fop of a vampire and has significant trouble getting with the times in terms of style.
